Reports are written by medical experts in the relevant specialism, not generalists. An orthopaedic injury is typically assessed by an orthopaedic specialist, and a psychiatric injury by a psychiatric specialist.
Independence built in
Experts are allocated by clinical specialism, not commercial relationships. For fixed-cost soft-tissue RTA reports, instructions are allocated through MedCo's random selection process, as the rules require.
