The vision and mission behind Expert Medical
Our vision is to be the best at what we do, not by volume or profit, but by value. Our mission is independent medical evidence that serves injured people, the courts, and the solicitors and insurers who instruct us.
Expert Medical is an independent medical reporting organisation, and our vision is medical evidence that every party in a claim can trust. We want to be the best at what we do, not by volume or profit, but by value. We do not measure success in revenue figures or report volumes. We measure it in the quality of every assessment we conduct, the rigour of every expert we instruct, and the certainty every client has that we will deliver.

Independent experts, matched by specialism
Our vision starts with the expert. Reports are prepared by GMC or HCPC-registered specialists drawn from a nationwide panel, and each instruction is matched to the right clinical specialism. An orthopaedic injury is typically assessed by an orthopaedic specialist, and a psychiatric injury by a psychiatric specialist.

Impartial reports the court can rely on
We are instructed and paid by one party, but the expert's duty is to the court. Every report carries the declarations and statement of truth that CPR Part 35 requires, and is checked for compliance before delivery, so it serves claimant and defendant equally.

Fair outcomes, delivered dependably
The personal injury system exists to make injured people whole, and our mission is to serve that purpose. A dedicated account manager handles every case, examinations are arranged close to the claimant across England and Wales, and reports are delivered within timescales agreed with the instructing party.
A vision measured in value, not volume
We built Expert Medical around a straightforward idea. Independent experts, impartial reports and fair outcomes for injured people, delivered with a dependable service that solicitors and insurers can plan around. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on every instruction, regardless of business size or instruction volume.
